Movie 1: Feelings that Transend Across Time
- 200 years prior to Inuyasha and Kagome's quest, Inutaisho, Inuyasha's Father, battled an evil demon from China named Hyoga. Inutaisho killed Hyoga, and sealled away his powers. But 200 years later, Monemoru, Hyoga's son, has returned, and is looking for the Tetsusaiga so he can break the seal on Hyoga's powers so he can inherit them.
Opinions: I think this movie is great! Such awesome effects and detail! It's fun to listen to in both languages. I like it a lot, and the part involving the picnic and the part involving Sango hitting Miroku with her shoulder pad were so funny, I laugh every time I think about it! A must see!!!
Movie 2: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass
- With Naraku destroyed, the Inu-tachi decide to lay low until they know for certain that Naraku is dead for good. Kagura and Kanna, having nothing else better to do, decide to revive the Moon Princess, Kaguya. Now it's up to Inuyasha and the others to stop Kaguya before she makes the Earth locked in an endless night!
Opinions: I love this one!!!! So beautifully done! I look forward to hearing it in English, since that is my native language this December! The story is compelling and beautiful.
Movie 3: The Fang That Controls The World
- INUTAISHO!!!!! Years prior to the quest, Inutaisho, who returned from his deadly battle with Ryokutsei, is lethly wounded. He senses something is wrong, and takes off to find out what happened to Izayoi, his human wife, who was giving birth to his new son, Inuyasha (the cutest little baby I've ever seen!!!!! ^-^!). Because he is a meanie, this soldier killed Izayoi (or wounded her really badly...I don't remember.), and Inutaisho storms into the castle where she is and attempts to rescue her. He confronts the soldier, and they fight. At some point in time, Inutaisho revives or heals Izayoi and gives her his Fire rat cloak so she can escape with Inuyasha. After a battle, Inutaisho uses Souunga, his ultimate sword, to fight. Then, he dies. (NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!)
Jump to the Future: Jii-chan is cleaning out the shrine when he comes across a box that holds a sword inside.And who's sword is it???? Inutaisho's Souunga! (ironic...) Anyway, Inuyasha happens to come across Souunga, and he decides to mess with the sword for some reason. Then, he basically goes nuts and starts rampaging around Fuedal Japan as a full demon, killing a whole bunch of stuff....
Opinions: Well, you can tell I've only watch parts of this... I am looking forward to actually getting the whole thing. IT'S AWESOME!!! And Baka agrees with me! A MUST GET!!! Remember: INUTAISHO!
Movie 4: Guren no Houraijima (Crimson Fire Island)
- Umm...I haven't seen this one yet... so I'm a little fuzzy on the details... I think that there is an island where demons and humans live in peace, until seven (or five...I don't know...) demonic gods awaken and start attacking the island. A hanyou girl seeks out Inuyasha, who had once battled against these gods before over 60 years ago alongside Kikyo. A crimson scar flares up on his back, revealing that the girl was telling the truth. So the Inuyasha gang set out to Houraijima Island.
There are a lot of stuff I don't know about this movie, and I hope to watch it soon. Only problem is that there is a lot of Kikyo in it.... I'm sorry, but I just don't like her much. EXCEPT *Spoiler Alert* Kikyo wears a different outfit!! Actually, it's another ressurection or a fake or something made by the gods to fool Inuyasha. But still, NEW CLOTHES! And they look VERY similar to Midori-ko's outfit...but hey, it's probably just me...
Anyway, try it out. I will very soon!
